A management system for graphic assets used when launching websites and apps: requirements, statuses, versions, validation, AI generation and export of ready assets.

Asset CRM grew out of a practical problem that comes up regularly when launching digital products. A website, an app or another digital service needs dozens of graphic assets: logos, icons, images, social previews, platform-specific images and many variants of the same asset.

The problem

Requirements depend on the platform and the asset type. For every image these may differ:

  • size;
  • aspect ratio;
  • file format;
  • transparency;
  • maximum weight;
  • usage variants.

The assets themselves go through several stages: requirements, preparation, review, a new version, approval and export. Once there are many projects and assets, spreadsheets and folders stop giving a clear picture.

The idea

Asset CRM turns work with graphic assets into a structured process. The system connects:

  • projects;
  • platforms;
  • asset types;
  • requirements;
  • specific instances;
  • versions;
  • statuses;
  • validation against requirements.

Capabilities

The product concept includes:

  • a catalogue of asset requirements;
  • creating a project for selected platforms;
  • tracking asset readiness;
  • version storage;
  • automatic parameter validation;
  • AI tools for generating and preparing images;
  • export of a complete asset set;
  • export of related data to CSV and files to ZIP.

Why it matters

The goal is to remove the situation where, right before a launch, the team manually figures out which images are missing, which version is current and whether a given file meets platform requirements.

My role

I defined the product concept, the data model, the main user scenarios and the system requirements.

Status
